A guide to the South London Comic as well as Zine fair Communal Table – damaged Frontier Are right here to champion Your work at SLCZF 2018!

No sooner is this year’s ELCAF behind us than we’re looking at the next events on the UK indie comics calendar. The second South London Comic as well as Zine fair opens its doors at Stanley Halls in just over two weeks on Saturday July 14th. We’re delighted right here at damaged Frontier to be putting our name to the festival’s Communal Table as well as co-ordinating it on the day. Pop along, decrease off your comics, as well as if you’re a self-publisher you can likewise chat to me about damaged Frontier as well as your work.

The SLCZF Communal Table Guide

What to bring

 You can bring comics as well as zines; as much as 2 titles per person as well as no more 5 copies of each please.

We won’t be able to take: prints, badges, patches, tee shirts etc.

Also if your work is A4 or larger, we may only be able to have one title on the table at a time, depending upon what the response is like.

You must bring comics as well as zines in person. We can’t accept comics as well as zines in the post. Sorry!

What to do when you arrive

When you show up the communal table will be located close to the entrance as well as clearly sign-posted. Andy Oliver is recognisable from his hat.

We will take your comics/zines, as well as fill in a type so we understand what you’ve entrusted to us. We’ll make sure your work is clearly displayed as well as priced.

SLCZF starts at 12 noon, you can leave comics as well as zines with us at any type of time, however the earlier you come the more time we will have to offer your work.

After you’ve left your work with us, you are free to enjoy the fair. There are 46 exhibitors selling their work, a youngsters drawing area, a reading area, as well as a bar as well as a café selling coffee as well as snacks. So there’s plenty to see as well as do!

What to do when you leave

You can leave at any type of time however please come as well as pick up your money as well as any type of unsold comics/zines by 5.30. SLCZF ends at 6pm, as well as we requirement to pack up as well as leave the hall soon after 6pm.

Please make sure you pick up your work! We won’t be able to publish things back to you as well as any type of unclaimed comics as well as zines may be disposed of!

A couple more things…

We are happy to offer any type of comics or zines of any type of kind on any type of subject, however we do reserve the right to take work off the table if we feel it’s in any type of method hateful to any type of group of people.

We will do our finest to offer all your work, as well as may rearrange the table during the day to ensure that everybody gets a decent possibility to be seen.

A note for SLCZF visitors

We won’t be able to take credit/debit cards on the communal table, so bring lots of good, old-fashioned cash.
