Media release — publisher BOOM! Studios is pleased to announce it has earned 30 nominations for the 2014 Harvey Awards, which honor the best in comics for the 2013 calendar year. The nominations include honors for titles published under BOOM! imprints Archaia and KaBOOM! This is the most amount of nominations the publisher has ever earned in a single year.
The Harvey awards are one of the comic book industry’s oldest and a lot of respected awards. They are the only industry awards both nominated by and selected by the full body of comic book professionals.

The rest of the 2014 nominees can be seen on the final ballot on the Harvey awards official website. Voting is open to comic book creators (those who write, draw, ink, color, letter, design, edit or are involved in the creative aspect of comics) until August 14, 2014. The 27th annual awards will be presented at a ceremony held at Baltimore Comic-Con on September 6th, 2014.
